Terms & Conditions
These terms cover your use of hope108.in and any donation you make through it. Please read them before giving.
In effect from 9 August 2026
1. Who these terms are with
This website is operated by Hope108 - Anayajothi Charitable Trust, A5, Kirthi Flats, Abdual Razack First Street, Saidapet, Chennai 600015.
By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
2. Using this site
You may read, share and link to anything here. Please use the site lawfully and do not attempt to disrupt it, gain access to parts of it that are not public, or submit anything through our forms that is unlawful, abusive or deliberately false.
The text, photographs, films and artwork on this site belong to Hope108 or are used with permission. Please ask us at /contact before reproducing them commercially.
3. Donations
Donations are voluntary and are made to support the trust's work generally. Where you give toward a particular programme, we will apply it to that programme so far as we reasonably can; if that programme is already funded or cannot proceed, we will use your gift for our other charitable work rather than leave it idle.
Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card or UPI details.
Donations are accepted in Indian Rupees. Amounts shown in other currencies are indicative conversions only — your bank or card issuer decides the final rate and may add its own charges.
Monthly donations continue until you cancel. To cancel, write to us at /contact and we will stop the next instalment.
4. Tax receipts
The trust's 80G/12A registration is not confirmed at the time of writing, and we therefore cannot currently issue an income-tax exemption receipt.
We will confirm your donation by email. If a tax receipt is important to you, please ask us at /contact before donating rather than after.
5. Refunds
A donation is a gift and is not usually refundable, because it is generally put to work quickly.
If you have made a mistake — the wrong amount, a duplicate payment, or a payment you did not authorise — tell us at /contact as soon as you can and we will look into it and refund where it is right to do so. Approved refunds go back to the account the payment came from.
6. What we say on this site
We write about our work as accurately as we can. Figures describing our impact are our own records and are not independently audited.
Where this site links to another organisation's website, we are not responsible for that site's content.
7. Availability and liability
We do not promise that the site will always be available or error-free, and we may change or withdraw parts of it.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
9. Contact
Questions about these terms, a donation, or a refund: please use the contact form at /contact.
